Hello, I'm Richard Cardoza, and my journey to becoming a wedding officiant began in a way I never expected.

A few years ago, close friends asked if I would officiate their daughter's wedding. They told me they felt I would be the perfect person for the job, and while I was deeply honored, it also made me stop and think. Why me? What could I offer that would make their wedding day special?

The answer came from a lifetime of experiences. After raising children, volunteering in my community, building businesses, making lifelong friendships, celebrating successes, learning from failures, and simply trying to become the best person I can be, I realized I had something meaningful to share. A wedding is more than a legal ceremony—it's an opportunity to send two people out into the world with love, encouragement, wisdom, and hope for the future.

That first ceremony confirmed what my friends already knew. I truly love helping couples celebrate one of the most important moments of their lives.
